Yorkshire Sculpture Park- Metal Work

For a full weekend I learned metal work at the Yorkshire Sculpture park.
The course leaders Brian Fell and Owen Cunningham introduced me to the use of metal to draw and divide space. 
The course included the use of various tools, machines and their functions, such as forging, welding and cutting.

With the various tools and techniques, I made a viking shield with the character Toothless from the film 'How to train your Dragon'. Ever mindful of environmental impact, I made the waste metal into a garden sculpture.
